My name is Cressida the fairy and the only fairy here as well. I lived in a land filled with dragons. There were small ones, big ones, green ones, and even pink furry polka dotted ones. We lived in an enchanted forest. There was no one to bother any of us because there had been a protection force field put up. A long time ago a group of men in chained amour came in and started to kill the dragons. They wanted the dragon’s scales. Each dragon had patches spread throughout their bodies with their scales being gold. A week had passed until one the older dragons came to make the force field. He was the only dragon with magic powers. Doing so, he used what was left of his life, all to save us from the gold blinded men. Every year celebrate in his death. It’s what he would have wanted as well. And tomorrow was going to be that day. So I went out into the deep part of the forest to gather flowers. It was the best part of the forest because that’s where Baby Field was. It’s where the newborn baby dragons go to sleep for eight days. They have to in order to live. The field is made of only flowers and the flower’s pollen gives off onto them like a medicine. I made my rounds just a mile away from the babies. As I was picking the bright colored flowers I saw something by the babies. It was too small to see from where I was, so I flew over to the direction of the mysterious object. As I got closer, I noticed that it looked like me. I quickly hid behind a tree and stared at the new individual. It had wings just like me, and was the same size. It had dark brown hair and emerald green eyes. It was also very handsome. But he was in the Baby Field, flying around all of the peacefully sleeping creatures. I was afraid it would wake the dragon babies. “Hey, you!” I whispered loudly trying not to wake any of them. “You’re going to wake them if you keep doing that.” It flew over by me and stared straight into my eyes like it never saw another one like me before. I did too, because I never have either.
“You’re just like me. You have wings and your ears are pointy.” it said cheerfully. I laughed quietly somewhat embarrassed and not knowing why I was.”My names Darius. What’s yours?”
“Cressida… That’s a pretty name.”
“Thank you,” I said blushing.
“So, do you live here?”
“Yes, I’ve lived here my whole life. What about you? How did you get here?”
“Well, I’ve been trying to find a place to live most of my life. I’ve never really had a home before.” He said looking down at the ground. I placed my hands on his cheeks and lifted his face up.
“Maybe this could be your home.” I said smiling.
“Gee, really? You would let me stay here in these beautiful lands?”
“Of course! I said eagerly. I’ve never seen anyone like me here before and to have you here is very exciting.” He stared into my eyes again, but this time like he was as excited as I was.
“Could we be friends?” he asked.
