Wyoming is a wonderful place, perfect for the nature lover. With a population of just over 584,000, or 5.8 per square mile, there is much wilderness to be explored. This post will focus on the wonders of the famous Yellowstone, while also featuring the awe inspiring gem known as Devil’s Tower.
Yellowstone National Park
Spanning 3,468 mi², and crossing into 3 states, Yellowstone is home to over 300 different types of animals. It sits atop an active volcano and witnesses between 1,000-3,000 earthquakes each year. The park brings in around 3-4 million visitors each year to witness the geysers, bacteria fields, waterfalls, and plentiful wildlife.
