30 Days of Thankfulness Day 15: Entertainment

Entertainment has always been a part of myself, all the way from movies to music to live shows to reading. No matter what it is, it’s been there and will continue. I truly believe that it’s made myself a lot more confident in who I am and what I do. It’s also made me believe that if I strive for something, I can accomplish it, a.k.a my writing.

Something that has really boosted those two things has been YouTube. I’ve been an advocate watcher since 2012. The very first YouTuber I watched was Joey Graceffa. I watched him as he moved from New York to California, created a huge fan base, made extremely new changes, and overcame his battles. He has been a huge inspiration for me since I started watching his videos and I couldn’t have chosen a better role model. As of right now, he’s living happily in his own home with his boyfriend and two dogs, which I adore. His story has truly shown me that if you work hard and dedicate every bit of yourself to what you love, it’ll pay off in time. It’s people like him who inspired me to go for writing and continue on my journey. That has also lead me to finally make my own YouTube channel and make my very own videos. I have admired so many YouTubers who have made great videos just by going to a park and hanging out with friends. It made me remembered that those videos made my day a lot better and that’s why I started my channel. I’ve learned that I simply like to make people happy and if I can do that by my creativity, that makes it all the better.

Anyways, entertainment has made a good portion of who I am today and will continue to do so. I hope you have something in your life that’s done the same and if not, try to find it and make the best of it.
