Ring in the New Year’s top 7 #6

If some of you don’t know, I have a YouTube Channel where I try my best to post regularly. So far I’ve basically posted videos of me going to new places, kind of like follow me around. Those are great, but the more I do, the more I feel like they’re dry and not what I pictured them to turn out. So for 2017, I want to try different types of videos. I don’t really like my voice a whole lot, so I don’t think I’m going to be talking in any of them. But I’m thinking of more movie like, tours, and being more creative when I edit.

I only have a couple videos in mind, so tell me what you want to see!

I try to post every Friday, so if you’d like to see, my channel is Chloe Akemi. And while you’re there, comment that you came from here 🙂

For my second personal resolution, I want to try new things. And this one is probably really cheesy to most, but I kind of find myself to be a bland person, who goes on with life like most. But I want to change that by getting out of my comfort zone and going out there to be the best I can. I’m not quite sure yet what I want to do, but I’m sure I’ll find something out.

Tell me what I should try! I live in California, so nothing too far away or crazy 🙂

For my fourth resolution, I’m super excited about. And that is writing more books! Writing the first two was such a fun yet stressful time, and I loved every minute of it.

To me, writing is the one thing where I feel I can express most of my feelings in a good way. It’s where I can drop you into a world and it’ll make you happy, sad, angry, or even scared all at once.

As for the year of 2017, I already have something brewing up. I’ll give you a hint as to what it’ll be… It of course involves a new world I’ve created, kings and queens, elves, and so many more mysterious creatures. I absolutely cannot wait to share this story with all of you!

And a goal of mine is to write two more books of 2017. These books may be related or they may not, keep up with my blog and you can find out!

As for my third resolution, it’s more on the private side, but I thought why not share it on my blog. I’ve picked three things that I want to work myself. The first is opening myself up. If you don’t know me in person, which some of you don’t, I’m kind of a really shy person. I think it’s been like that my entire life, but it’s never too late change something.

While being shy, there can be a lot of awkwardness that comes with it. And if you’ve been in awkward situations a lot, you know it can be a little rough. And so, with opening myself up to others, I hope accomplish the non awkwardness and letting others know who I really am when we first meet.

As I stated in my last post, I will be creating more content for my blog next year. This will include short stories that involve each month, book reviews, and little life talks from me to you. Since I’ve already created my schedule, I’m going to stick to those things, but if you have a suggestion or just want me to do something else, let me know. I would your opinions. And like I said, I have a schedule and I would like to be more strict about it. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know what it’s been like. So hold me up to this!

Ring in the New Year’s top 7 #1

I’ve decided that since New Years is literally around the corner, I would tell you all my 7 resolutions! I know many of you have done the same as me in the past with our resolutions, we work on it for maybe a week and we’re done. We either keep it to ourselves or tell on social media. This year I’ve decided to tell on my platform because I feel like mine are good goals I can reach, hopefully, and maybe even inspire some of you!

To start off, my first New Year’s resolution is to write more. This past year I have written way more than I thought and I think it’ll be great to write even more! Whether it is the short stories I post on here, books, or even just in my journal, I want to write, write, write.

If you are interested, I do plan on writing and posting more short stories on here, along with new fun things. I’ve already got my planning done for 2017, and I just can’t wait for you all to see them!

Blogmas Day 25: Christmas day With Pajamas

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone is having a great morning, afternoon, evening, whatever time it may be. And I hope Christmas has been everything you’ve wished for.

One thing that I like on Christmas day is to where my pajamas all morning, listen to music, play around, and think nothing but happy thoughts. Today is a joyous in whichever way you perceive Christmas to be. For myself, I didn’t grow up surrounded by the religious spectrum, so I like to just be thankful for what and who I have in my life and be happy. Also, I love to see the reactions people have when they open up the gifts I’ve given them, it makes me happy to see their enjoyment.

I hope you’ve all enjoyed my 25 days of Christmas and have had a great Christmas!

Blogmas Day 24: The Excitement of Christmas Eve

Christmas eve is possibly one of my favorite nights. From family gathering around and watching a movie to the feeling of not wanting to go to sleep because of the next day. So many feelings fill inside and come out with nothing but joy for myself.

One thing that I like to do on Christmas eve is wear my most comfy pajamas, warm up hot chocolate, grab the cookies, and snuggle up in bed to watch a movie. I’ve always loved doing this and I think I’ll keep it up 🙂 Happy Christmas eve to all of you. Wherever you are, whether you celebrate or not, I hope you are happy and content with where you’re at in life in this moment.

Blogmas Day 23: Spending Time With Loved Ones

It’s always been known that if you spend quality time with loved ones that everything seems to be better. And I think everyone knows this as well, so I shouldn’t have to do much explaining.

Chirstmas will forever be a time to spend with family, friends, and loved ones, and don’t take it for granted. You never know what life will give you, but in this moment you know what has been already given to you. So take advantage of that and be happy. If sitting in front of a fire while listening to Christmas music is what you like to do, then do it! There are no limits to core happiness.

Blogmas Day 22: Starting Your own Traditions

This can be fun yet a tad bit stressful. Starting your own traditions is such a fun thing to do and exciting. This can be all the way to having a nice dinner Christmas Eve, have a Christmas party, get a new ornament each year, or even have a specific night to have a Harry Potter movie marathon. It can be absolutely anything you want and that’s the best part! For myself, we started our own tradition of getting a new ornament. This year we got a slice of pizza because it means something to us.

So, like I said, it can be anything you’d like. And try new things too. If you don’t like it, you can just throw it out and try something new next year.
