On The Daily #112

Here is the first little sneak peek from my new book coming out this Friday!

When I was 12, I was in the sixth grade. And there wasn’t anything special about the sixth grade except getting older. Most girls started wearing tight clothing, exploring makeup, and getting periods. Not to mention crushing on boys hardcore. And not only crushing on boys, but dating them. I tried many, many times to be like those girls, but the only thing I had going for me was getting my period and not getting any skinnier. Girly clothing and makeup weren’t part of my vocabulary. Though, I did go through an emo stage where eyeliner was my best friend, but that was short lived. I was still wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes. As for boys, joking around was still a thing. Although I did have a crush on one. We’ll call him Hot Pink. At the time I didn’t really know, but looking back now, everyone probably had a huge crush on him. Hot Pink was just a nice guy. But for him to like me back was a whole other question. I fantasized about it, but knew it would never happen. Still, it was nice to think about here and there.

I hope you all enjoyed!

Much love, Chloe ❤
