Dear Anna,

Oh lord! Are you being serious, Anna Grace? I’ve wished and prayed every single night before I left that we would be parents soon. I can’t believe this…

For some more good news, I’ll be on my way home very very soon. In fact, you should open the door right about now.

Love, James

Life Talk #26

Happy Friday friends! It seems it’s already Friday again, but the week did feel like forever as well. We’ll never get an in between, will we? 😉 It also seemed like this week had nothing much to it at all. I don’t keep up with everything in the outside world, but I don’t think too much happened. Which is good, especially where we’re all at now. But let’s not talk about any of that.

I do have some fun and good news for you… but that won’t come until Monday! It’s a little while but I think it’ll be worth it. Just for a sneak, it’s an update on where I’m at after finishing Paper Tiger.

So, any good plans this holiday weekend? For myself, I don’t have much planned other than hanging out at home. Yeah, it’s not much but I need to save money, haha! That doesn’t mean I’m going to miss out on some great fireworks though. I’m not sure where I’ll be going, but nonetheless, I’m sure they’ll be good wherever I choose. Did you watch firework shows every year growing up? I grew up on a farm and we could see multiple firework shows every year. It was so much fun to live where no one else did and enjoy something for free. Now that I’m older and know about traffic, I took all those years for granted. It’s too bad, but I know that I still enjoyed them very much. Oh, also I plan on filming a few videos! I’m super excited for them because they’re different than what I’ve ever done before and plus, they’re just fun in general. So make sure to look out for them all this weekend. I may split it up here and there over a course of this week, but make sure to subscribe to my channel to see them first!

I hope you all have an amazing weekend and spend it with purpose and with joy. There’s nothing more I like to see other than people having a great time with themselves, family, friends, etc.

Be safe, everyone!

Much love, Chloe ❤

Dear James,

That’s great news! I can’t believe it’s all happening so fast… well it’s been six months, but as the time passes, it seems to go by faster. And do not apologize for anything, you work too hard.

Speaking of great news, I actually have some for you. Do you remember before you left how we talked about trying something and that maybe one day we could be good parents? Well, we’re going to be parents soon. I hope you’re as excited as I am, and I hope you return home soon. I want to share this special moment with you so much.

Stay safe, my love.

Dear Anna,

Everytime I read your letter, it makes me feel you’re right beside me as well. Do not worry though, I have great news!

In the past week we’ve found the motherload! There’s so much gold here that it could fill an entire town. With that being said, I’ll be home in another month or so. At least that’s what the word is. But I do hope and wish it’s true. I can’t stand being away from you so long, my darling.

Anything new back at home? It’s a shame what happened to the garden. I hope you’re getting by, you shouldn’t have to do any of that nonsense.

I do apologize for the short letter. They’ve been working us hard, so time is short but know that I mean every single word on here.

Love, James

Who: Ashton- brother, Liza- sister

Why: Everything seems fine since Ashton and Liza are coming home, but the saw something no one could unsee. This haunts them terribly each night and they mysteriously long to go back.

Dear James,

I’m so glad to finally hear from you! It has felt like months for me as well, but now that I have your letter, it seems like you’re here with me. I know that sounds silly but whenever I hold your letter, it feels like I’m holding your hand.

As for you, the bad luck is here as well. It had rained for a week straight and washed out the entire garden. I couldn’t believe my eyes when it finally stopped raining. Everything was destroyed. Don’t worry though, I saved a little more money and I have some extra to buy some of the Welcher’s vegetables.

I hope everything goes well for you. I know you’ll find something, you have to. It’s why you’re all there.

I can’t wait for the day you can come home. We miss you so much. Be safe, my love.

Love, Anna

To start off this fun letter to letter story, I’ll be writing about the wild west and when they gold miners first started off! Now, I’m not going to be writing everything so specifically to that time, this is just for fun. I link a picture down below that inspired me to create this story line. Let’s begin.

My Dearest Anna,

It has only been three weeks but it feel much more like three months without you. I dream about you every night. I dream about the times we went to Ol’ Bear creek and laid out there for hours to watch the stars. Missing you is too sette, I long for you and your body.

The mines we’ve spotted out haven’t been much luck either. Boss says we should’ve hit somethin by now. And I don’t think we’ll get anything at the rate we’re going. The men here were hopefully once, but this last week has lost almost everyone’s motivation. I still have hope but I’m not sure how long that can last.

Anna, I can not wait to hold you in my arms again. I do apologize for not writing sooner, it’s been hectic out here. But do not think a day passes by and I don’t think about you. Remembering your sweet voice helps me fall asleep every night, as I hope you sleep well too, my darling.

Love, James

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Okay, to be completely honest, I did have a week’s worth of topics I wanted to share with you all… But it’s totally slipped out of my mind. It was something good too. Don’t you hate it when that happens? I always do this when it comes to something that I think I’ll remember. Oh well, it’ll come back to me. So if you see a sudden change in this week’s posts, it’s most likely because I remembered it, haha! I might even remember it before then. Anyways, have a good day 🙂

Hey friends, so it’s a couple hours later and I remembered what it was I was wanted to post this week! I thought it would be fun to incorporate more of my writing and do a letter going back and forth between two individuals. I have some ideas on who they’re going to be but it’ll be surprise to the rest of you 🙂

Much love, Chloe ❤

Hi everyone, I hope the weekend is treating you well and you’re getting ready for the upcoming 4th of July celebrations!

I have been introduced into author, writing, and reading groups recently, and I was wondering if any of you would know a good site or group that’s online I could look around at. I’ve been wanting to communicate with others like this for a while now, not only to talk about writing and reading but to make new friends. So if you have any suggestions, please leave it down below in the comment section and I’ll gladly read it!

Spread joy and happiness and have a great rest of your weekend!

Much love, Chloe ❤

In yesterday’s post, I talked briefly on why I like to write, and I’d like to carry on with that but talk about why I like to share my writing on my blog.

In my last post (and previous one) I said that talking isn’t my best, so I resort to writing. I would love to have talking as a good trait of mine, but it simply isn’t, and I have to face that fact. Trying will be something I do nonstop, so I’ll keep on trying to have better conversation skills. But for right now, I’m going to make my writing even better than what it is. If writing is something I deeply love, then why not share that and keep improving?

I post everyday on my blog because it’s a way I can get my metaphorical voice heard. Whether there is only one person who reads or 10, I want someone else out there to hear what I have to say. That’s why I like to post motivational and inspiring posts. In the past few years I’ve been discovering who I am and why I’m here, and I think as of right now I’m still confused but I want to share it and share kindness. There has to be something I’m meant for and maybe it is writing, so for now it’s what I’ll do.

Much love, Chloe ❤
