Writing Advice #10 A burning passion

I’d like to firstly say I’m super sorry if you like these posts and have been waiting for a while without a new one. It slipped my mind on Monday that I had it and then I kept forgetting this entire week. Once again, I’m really sorry if you were looking forward to it on Monday, but let’s get into it now 🙂

You know that burning feeling you get when you’re writing that keeps you going and when you’re finally done, you feel so satisfied? Well, that’s called passion and oh how sweet it is! When you’re going on a roll, it’s such a great feeling to know internally that you’re doing great without having someone to tell you all the time. It’s extremely rewarding when you write, write, write and nothing comes, but when it hits you, it hits you like a brick wall. To be completely honest, this past week I felt like I was just doing filler posts, but today felt amazing! I’m going on my fourth post today and I know I have it in me to write at least one more.

Passion is what makes you have that drive. It makes you unbelievably happy, like a stupid kind of happy. I’ve always wanted to use that, haha! Just remember that it’s fine if you aren’t writing tons everyday or whenever it is that you like to write. What keeps you going is passion and if it isn’t there, that’s fine. But when it is there, take advantage of it and have fun!

Passion is key.

Much love,

Chloe ❤
