Last week I saw a movie called Thor: Ragnarok, and let’s just say… it… was… AMAZING!!! The Thor series has probably been one of my favorite Marvel movies and this movie set the bar even higher.
What I liked most about the movie style this time is that t had a lot more comedy even though there was a harder heartbreak than the rest (you’ll just have to watch the movie to find out!). And the comedy wasn’t too much or trying too hard as well, which I liked a lot. Because sometimes trying too hard can make something seem cringy and we all DO NOT like cringe. A lot of the times, being subtle is the best.
Something that I liked the most about the movie itself, not including the acting, etc., were the moments when it looked like a painting when a fight scene was happening. If you haven’t seen the movie, let me explain. I’m talking about the paintings where men and women look like they’re floating while being fed grapes and angels are playing a harps. Get me me now? Anyways, when the fight scenes would happen, it filled me with so many different emotions because I would expect a regular fight to happen but then BAM! Slow majesticness would happen and everyone would look so freaking badass.
The third thing I liked the most was the music. It sounded so different and galaxy esc that it made the movie awesome by that. Don’t get me wrong, regular good ol’ movies scores are amazing and art itself but this music was different and just what we all needed if the series was going to be carried out.
Overall, this movie was great and I’m stoked to see Black Panther (which looks amazing as well) and the third Avengers movie too.
If you’re looking for a twist on a superhero movie, this one is for you!
This week I’ve had an obsession come back again… MERMAIDS!
Hi, everyone! I’ll get into what I just said but I just wanted to talk to you about my posts. I’ve learned many times that if I don’t pre write my posts when a holiday or something special happens, they tend to lack personality and creativity, which is what I try to strive for. Anyways, I’m trying my best to write ahead of time so everyday will be as good. And this month as well as December I’m going to have to do a lot of that. Thus I’m going to keep on pushing and pushing more quality blog posts until the new year comes around… And when it does, I’ll have something very new and hopefully exciting for all of you to see. Alright, let’s get back into my obsession with mermaids 😉
Ever since I watched The Little Mermaid, I have always always always wanted to become one! I remember taking baths and feeling my hair in the water and thinking, I’m just like Ariel! Even today whenever I go to the pool, I still have a moment of sheer happiness of magical “mermaidness.” I’ve always perfected my own version of Ariel’s hair as well. Though, I have a smaller forehead and it kind of makes me a little wonky, but I can still rock it every now and then, right? 😉
Anyways, I just wanted to talk about something that made me so happy when I was a child and as an adult! What is yours? Did you always want to be friends with a “long neck’? (it’s a Land Before Time reference, hehe!) Regardless, tell me down below, I’d love to read about it 🙂
As always, much love,
I have a dilemma, guys… So I want to stay hydrated because, one it’s a must and water is great for you. But, whenever I don’t drink a bunch of water, my lips look super full and just what I want. On the other hand, my skin looks way better when I’m actually and fully hydrated.
I’m just kidding, but I do think about that a lot more than most would think, haha! Anyways, I just wanted to get you pumped up for the weekend, as my weekend starts tonight 🙂 Since I’m with someone who’s in the military, they get off on some extra holidays that most wouldn’t normally get off. Thus, it means I get off too since I work my own hours! It’s actually really nice but sometimes I get backed up and have to write five different posts because I didn’t plan properly but I’m definitely not complaining about have days off.
Happy hump day!!! Just think of it this way, once you get through today, it means there’s only one non fun day left, Thursday. But you just have to power through Thursday and then have a mindset on Friday that you can conquer the world (because you can). That’s basically how I’ve always seen the week halfway through and it helps a lot. So if you need a little pick me up, just think of the week in that way.
Nonetheless, I hope you have an amazing Wednesday and have fun while doing so!
When you were younger and watched Disney princess movies, who was your favorite? As a kid, I really liked Mulan, Ariel and Pocahontas. As an adult now, I love Jasmine and Pocahontas the most. And being a Disney fanatic, I’ve tried to incorporate a Jasmine esthetic style to my life. So if you’re interested in how I’ve done that so far, keep on reading!
One of the first things I did was buying a white and gold tapestry on Amazon. It actually wasn’t too bad for it’s price, which was about $15. Something else that you don’t necessarily need but is still really nice is a snowglobe. When I was younger, I collected snowglobes and one just so happened to be a beautiful Jasmine and Rajah one. I placed that on a short octagon table I have in my room and put three gold bangles in front of the snowglobe. If you’re trying to get the Jasmine aesthetic, I’d suggest getting white, gold, sea green, silver and a dash or purple and blue colors in your room or style.
While I may not know a whole lot about fashion and styling your room, I know from a little experience on how to incorporate Disney without it being too obvious and childlike. But that’s not to say that you can’t go all out and have items that Jasmine on it. Do whatever will make you the happiest!
I hope you enjoyed this post and tell me if you want more like it 🙂 Have an amazing weekend!
As always, much love,
Okay, I may be absolutely crazy for saying this, but here goes nothing.
A couple of days ago I had the strangest dream. After waking up from being chased down, it felt real and made absolute sense. Even though now I look back and think that’s only what crazy people would do, it made so much sense to me when I woke up. I know, I know, I sound really weird and crazy but have you ever felt like that after waking up frantically from a dream? I felt so weird the rest of the day… Does this mean something? Not what happened in the dream but the way I felt after? Please let me know if you have any ideas!
Nonetheless, I hope everyone has a great Friday 🙂
Wow, it’s already going to be the weekend again… And it’s already November! If there’s’ anything we can all agree on, it’s that 2017 has gone by pretty darn fast, as 2018 will be here any moment. Nonetheless, it’s still the beginning of November, so let’s have some more fun for the rest of this year!
This week a very productive one. I have been uploading videos every single day this week and will for the rest of November. Since October has started, I’ve really liked the feeling of filming, editing and then uploading. Call it passion or whatever you want, it’s a great feeling! I also created new keychains for my etsy shop and the writing game isn’t too bad as well. Now I hope since I’m focusing more on filming this month that my blog posts won’t go to complete shit. This year has been full of discovering a new way of writing and I’ve learned a lot from writing everyday. I just hope you know I’m trying to not neglect my blog and am trying to still write like the beginning.
With that being said, nothing much has happened this week other than keeping myself busy with work related things. This weekend will be a nice breather. Hopefully I’ll be getting a few more things I need for an upcoming event and that’ll be it. Like I’ve said, I’m trying to save as much money as I can and it’s not going too bad.
What will all of you be doing this weekend? Will you be seeing the new Thor movie or will you be cuddled up inside binge watching your newest fave TV show? Regardless what it is, I hope it’s fun and you enjoy yourself!
Have a great start to your weekend!
Happy November 1st! I know most people go right into Christmas and winter decorations, but what about the rest of fall itself?? It seems like everyone likes to skip over one of the best months out of the year… Well, not me. And I’m not saying November is my favorite month because it’s when my birthday is either. November is the pivotal month of everything fall. The end of September kind of is but not really and October is Halloween everything, so November should only be directed towards fall things, right? Besides, winter is such a long time of the year, so why not enjoy the fall beauty?
Anyways, I just thought I’d tell you why I love November so much 🙂 If you live November, tell me in the comments section, or if you don’t like November, tell me why. Nonetheless, I’d love the hear what your thoughts are!
Have an amazing 1st day of November and bring happiness and love into your life!
Happy Halloween, everyone! I hope everyone has their costume and is ready for all the spooks and candy 🙂
Putting aside all the fun talk, I hope you’ve enjoyed my Halloween themed posts. And as always on holidays, I like to know just a little bit more about what the holiday really is about. Growing up, we’re taught about it, but we aren’t really taught about the details… Nonetheless, I have a link at the end for you to know a little bit more 🙂
I hope all of you have a great Halloween and if you’re going trick-or-treating, be safe and have fun!
Happy Monday, everyone! I hope Halloween weekend was fun and exciting! Mine was a little boring on the side of Halloween related things but that’s because of poor planning. I actually had some things in mind for this past weekend but sometimes things just don’t work out and that’s totally fine 🙂 One of those did include going to a haunted forest so, I didn’t luck out too much. Nonetheless, it was still fun to see everyone’s halloween costumes and I can’t wait for tomorrow to see EVERYONE’S!! I love dressing up and seeing others dress up as well, so this’ll be lots of fun! Sadly, where I live I won’t be able to hand out candy, as Trunk-or-Treat is getting quite popular nowadays. But that won’t stop me from eating my own candy and sweet treats 🙂
Have you decided what you’re going to be for halloween yet? I mean, it’s tomorrow, so you should have, right? No worries, last minute costume planning is always a must when you want to look your best. Me on the other hand, I haven’t decided what yet. I have a few to pick from and I just want to be all of them, haha! But once tomorrow comes, I’m sure I’ll know the minute I wake up.
Tell me in the comment section what you’re going to be or if you’re not, what your dream costume would be! I’d love to hear about it!
So today I wanted to take a little break away from the Halloween posts and talk about a new favorite. I’ve already mentioned him on my Life Talk post yesterday… Do you remember?… It’s Paul Anka!
I know I’m super duper late to the game, but I love discovering new artist that have that Frank Sinatra, Frankie Valli type of style. That music has had a special place in my heart for a long time and will continue 🙂
The songs I like the most of his are Put Your Head on My Shoulder and Tonight my Love, Tonight. Those two give me that classic romantic date vibe and they’re just too precious to not love. Also if you haven’t seen it, watch Paul’s live performance of Put Your Head on MY Shoulder. It’s incredibly sweet and if you’re into old vintage stuff, this is definitely a must watch.
Anyways, I just wanted to fangirl a little bit and since I have a place to showcase it, why not introduce it some people too?
Have a good rest of your weekend!
