OTD #341 Will my blog still be the same again?

Tomorrow is new year’s eve… Oh my gosh, that’s actually really crazy! This past year went by like a freight train. One of the things that have come a long way since last year is my blog. There have been a lot of ups as well as downs with my blog, but ultimately I think I’ve made quite a bit of progress since this time last year. I’ve gone from writing a ton of short stories to writing my true feelings and spreading true happiness and kindness the best I can. Honestly, that’s what I’m basing 2018 off of.

In the new year I will not be posting something everyday because of a couple of reasons. One; I’m starting my new book! This newest project is going to be great and I have a feeling that no matter what, I’m going to make this book my best one yet and who knows, maybe it’ll become a #1 best seller and become a movie, hehe! Dreams do come true, so who knows 🙂 Two; I want to make these post as best as I can. I know in the year of 2017 I’ve made a number of really good posts and I want to make each and every single one of them just like that and even better! I don’t have a schedule as of right now and I think that’s fine. I’ve been going off schedules for as long as I could remember and I think it’s time not to do it anymore. That doesn’t mean I’m only going to write once a month, just putting more effort into the posts themselves and giving myself time to do other things as well.

Other than the kinds of posts and when I’m posting, I’ll also be changing up the theme. I don’t have an exact idea but something new that’ll be coming will be a variety of pictures for each post, hopefully. I love a blog that incorporates pictures, so I’m doing what I like 🙂

That’s basically all I have planned and I really can’t wait for all of you to see it. If I do it right, I think it’ll turn out great!

Welp, that’s all I have for you! Look out for my last post of 2017 tomorrow, and have a great rest of your day 🙂

Much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #340 On Holiday!

Happy Friday, everyone 🙂 It’s the weekend again and I think we all can agree that it’s greatly needed after such a big holiday. As I’m writing this, it’s actually Tuesday evening while in my hotel room with the heat blasting in this very cold Wisconsin weather. A cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows would be really nice too, but we can’t have everything, hehe!

Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know how my holiday trip has been (I still have a couple of days but there’s not much going on). The first day was filled with airport stuff and eating out.

The second was a day filled with lots of shopping and Pokemon hunting! My family lives near the Mall of America, thus meant a great opportunity to do fun things 🙂 The shopping was really nice because we got a lot of stuff that weren’t in the store by us, which was great. And with the Pokemon hunting, that was amazing as well because we caught so many ice and the gen 3 starter Pokemon!!! If you play and are from a warm climate, you’d understand why that’s so exciting, haha!

Anyways, the following day we went to see the movie Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Mini review, the movie was actually a lot better than I thought it was going to be. The game character actors really hit the roles of “modern day teenagers”. Most movies have the actors kind of over do it but this was pretty on point.

After being with my family, we drove down to see Zach’s family and the same day we saw another movie, Daddy’s Home 2. For a comedy that has a sequel, it wasn’t too bad. I really liked the first one, so the second wasn’t as great but if you’re just seeing it without knowing the first one, I think you’ll like it, unless you don’t like Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg or Mel Gibson.

The following few days, I hadn’t been feeling too well… There’s a lot going on and sometimes you just have to stop and do things for yourself once in a while. It sucks because this is a vacation but it’s nice as well because it’s vacation and you can do whatever you want when you go on vacation.

Like I said before, I have a couple more days but we have to drive back to my family’s house and the next day is filled with airports, but I get to be back with my puppy, Tiberius!!! I’ve missed him so much and I just can’t wait to see him again. Also, a mini note, I can’t wait to get him a brother 🙂 I think he’s happy but I don’t want him to be lonely when I’m gone, plus I can’t wait to have more animals and build a happy furry family 🙂

Well, that’s all I have for now. The next todays will be filled with a lot of information about my life and where I’m taking my blog. I’ve been on for almost a year and a half, so I want to really make a blog a nice place for all of you. And there’s just so much I want to tell you, hehe!

Anyways, have a great day/night!

Much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #337 It’s over…

Aaahhhh… Christmas is over. The stressing out of finding last minute gifts is over. Deciding which family dinner to go to is over. That’s all over, but there’s just one more thing left! As of today, we have five more days left until it’s the new year!

I feel like I have so much left to accomplish this year but obviously five days just isn’t enough… You know, why do we do that? Why is it that we only use the new year to set our goals and only strongly strive for them then? This past year I’ve been trying my best to accomplish my goals all throughout the year. Although it has been really hard and I didn’t accomplish many of them, I still did it throughout the year and not just at the beginning.

I encourage you to do the same as 2018 approaches us!

Not to go too in depth about how I’m going into the year just yet 😉

Have ana amazing rest of your day and week!

Much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #336 Blogmas: Day 15 Merry Christmas!!!

OTD #334 Blogmas: Day 13 Giving or receiving?

Happy Blogmas Day 13!

Are you more of a giving or receiving type?

Now I know that people are lying when they say you wouldn’t like it if you got them something but if you do, you and I both know that they’d love whatever you got them because it’s the thought that counts 😉

I love when receiving gifts but I truly feel as we get older, the more we enjoy giving to others. My Dad is someone who I can’t wait one day to be rich and spoil him with countless gifts one day. He’s been someone who’s loved  and cared about me through everything and I don’t think I could ever thank jim enough no matter what I could give him.

So are you more of a giving or receiving person? And who is it in your life you love giving back to?

OTD #335 Blogmas: Day 14

Happy Blogmas Day 13!

This isn’t super Christmassy, but I thought I’d talk about it since it’s something I live by through thick and thin.

Kindness. Life can be rough and the people around us aren’t always kind to one another either, which sucks. I believe that the best gift of all is kindness. Imagine if everyone on planet Earth lived in kindness for one day. I bet that there wouldn’t be a single mad person, a terrible thing happening, or any sort of bad oras.

I think that kindness is something they we all need to continuously put out because maybe that’ll be the world someday, though that seems very far fetched to be honest. But there’s no use in not trying:)

If you receive nothing on Christmas, know that you are amazing, beautiful and if there’s anything you want to pursue, trying over and over again is needed and someday you can get there.

Spread kindness and positivity.

As always, much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #333 Blogmas: Day 12 How do you give?

Happy blogmas Day 12!

How do you give during the season? Do you go to shelters, give some of your change away to the bell ringers at stores, donate clothes, donate to food drives? There are so many ways you can give during the season and you don’t even have to spend money either!

I’ve always liked toys so this year I donated to Toys For Tots. I remember how it was when opening up toys as a child and I’m glad I can give that special feeling to someone else. And, kids are some our most pure people out there, so they deserve to have something during the holidays 🙂

So how do you give during the season?

Much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #332 Blogmas: Day 11 We all have our favorites…

Happy Blogmas Day 11!

We all have our favorites but some people like old ones more than newer and some people like the cartoons before any other. Can you guess what they are? I’ll give you a few seconds… … … … … Christmas movies!

I personally like a variety but some of my favorite ones are Elf, How the Grinch stole Christmas, White Christmas, Prancer and some Disney themed movies as well 🙂

What are yours? I’d love to know because I may add them to my list this year!

Much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #331 Blogmas: Day 10 Does singing bring cheer?

Happy Blogmas Day 10!

Does singing actually bring cheer or is that just a myth?

Now, I’m not a scientist or have done any research, haha! But I can kind of get the just from doing this thing called life for 20 years. And it seems to me that singing can bring cheer to all when it’s needed.

I don’t know about you but when I listen to Christmas music, it truly does put me in a better mood and brings a smile to my face 🙂 I hope it does for you as well. Even if you’re life me and don’t celebrate on the religion side of things, I still hope the music makes you happy.

If you’re looking for a good Christmas playlist, sign up for Spotify and search “Christmas Classics.” This playlist literally has the best music you’d want for your Christmas.

Does Christmas music bring cheer to you? And what are your fave songs?

Much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #330 Blogmas: Day 9 Favorite Christmas store treats?

Happy Blogmas Day 9!

We’re back on the topic of food again, haha! Anyways, what are your favorite Christmas store treats?

I’m not sure if it depends where you’re from but growing up we always got a bucket of popcorn with three different types in one. And the bucket is always Christmas themed as well 🙂 This year I got a red one with a cute puppy playing in the snow on it! The best place you know you can always find them is at a Walmart, Target or even a Kmart.

Another treat I like is a way smaller tin version of the popcorn and it has a variety of cookies. These aren’t regular cookies but they’re still really good!

Tell me which one you like! Or if there’s something else you’ve always gotten 🙂

Much love,

Chloe ❤
