GUYS. We are at 300 On The Daily posts!! What the heck?! This is insane and crazy and wonderful and just great, haha! I honestly can’t believe I’ve written over 300 posts on my blog just this year… With the year being almost over, I have so many different plans for my blog and for my followers and I just can’t wait for all of you to see it! I’ve learned so much from writing these posts and I will do nothing but try to excel everyday for all of you 🙂
I hope you’ve enjoyed your Sunday so far, as I’ve been enjoying mine. And if you haven’t, remember that everyday is a new day and it’s up to you to change it and make it a remarkable one 🙂
As always, much love,
Happy Saturday, my loves! Today I have a random question that’s like really random, haha!
For the past few years I’ve fallen in love with wax melts and more and more keep coming out with better scents. I’ve always thought when having three or four of the wax melt packages were having way too many and I needed to used them up, but I always wanted to have a bigger Variety. But a few people I know have them have at least 20 different kinds… 20! Probably even more to be honest. So, if the people who have them actually do have a bunch of them, I want some more in my life than just three.
My question is, if you use and like the wax melts, where do you get yours? I usually go to Walmart because they have a huge variety, but I know there are other places that are more unique. Thus I’d like to know where you get yours! And if you just like candles, you can let me know what your favorite candles are too 🙂
Last week I saw a movie called Thor: Ragnarok, and let’s just say… it… was… AMAZING!!! The Thor series has probably been one of my favorite Marvel movies and this movie set the bar even higher.
What I liked most about the movie style this time is that t had a lot more comedy even though there was a harder heartbreak than the rest (you’ll just have to watch the movie to find out!). And the comedy wasn’t too much or trying too hard as well, which I liked a lot. Because sometimes trying too hard can make something seem cringy and we all DO NOT like cringe. A lot of the times, being subtle is the best.
Something that I liked the most about the movie itself, not including the acting, etc., were the moments when it looked like a painting when a fight scene was happening. If you haven’t seen the movie, let me explain. I’m talking about the paintings where men and women look like they’re floating while being fed grapes and angels are playing a harps. Get me me now? Anyways, when the fight scenes would happen, it filled me with so many different emotions because I would expect a regular fight to happen but then BAM! Slow majesticness would happen and everyone would look so freaking badass.
The third thing I liked the most was the music. It sounded so different and galaxy esc that it made the movie awesome by that. Don’t get me wrong, regular good ol’ movies scores are amazing and art itself but this music was different and just what we all needed if the series was going to be carried out.
Overall, this movie was great and I’m stoked to see Black Panther (which looks amazing as well) and the third Avengers movie too.
If you’re looking for a twist on a superhero movie, this one is for you!
This week I’ve had an obsession come back again… MERMAIDS!
Hi, everyone! I’ll get into what I just said but I just wanted to talk to you about my posts. I’ve learned many times that if I don’t pre write my posts when a holiday or something special happens, they tend to lack personality and creativity, which is what I try to strive for. Anyways, I’m trying my best to write ahead of time so everyday will be as good. And this month as well as December I’m going to have to do a lot of that. Thus I’m going to keep on pushing and pushing more quality blog posts until the new year comes around… And when it does, I’ll have something very new and hopefully exciting for all of you to see. Alright, let’s get back into my obsession with mermaids 😉
Ever since I watched The Little Mermaid, I have always always always wanted to become one! I remember taking baths and feeling my hair in the water and thinking, I’m just like Ariel! Even today whenever I go to the pool, I still have a moment of sheer happiness of magical “mermaidness.” I’ve always perfected my own version of Ariel’s hair as well. Though, I have a smaller forehead and it kind of makes me a little wonky, but I can still rock it every now and then, right? 😉
Anyways, I just wanted to talk about something that made me so happy when I was a child and as an adult! What is yours? Did you always want to be friends with a “long neck’? (it’s a Land Before Time reference, hehe!) Regardless, tell me down below, I’d love to read about it 🙂
As always, much love,
Tradition is one of the things everyone can relate to. It’s what we hold true and deep to us, whether is be old or new.
When growing up, I had traditions but not crazy cultural ones. Sometimes I wish I did though. Ours were to put the Christmas tree up Thanksgiving weekend or getting a new magnet when going on a vacation, just the fun stuff basically. But I’ve never experienced cultural ones before. I mean I guess you could say those are the American ways, but nothing that resembles who I am ethnically. To be honest, I don’t know much as to any cultural traditional things when it comes to that, but I guess as an adult I can do all the research I want on that, huh?
Do you have any traditions you do every single year? Please feel free to talk about them down below! I’d love to read about them 🙂
Have a great rest of your Wednesday. You can get through this week!
As promised, I said I would tell you all about how my 20th birthday went, so here we go!
In the morning, Zach had gotten some cinnamon rolls, very good chocolate milk, which was put into cute glass milk bottles with a white and red striped straw. I was then surprised with a stuffed bulldog in the Marine woodland camis. I then went to my vanity to get ready for the day. After we went out shopping and got a number of things. We then came back home and changed into our evening outfit and were going to go to the Cheesecake factory, as the one closest to us looked like it was open but it ended up only being invite only. So, we decided on the next best thing, McDonald’s… And I know what you’re thinking, look, we really like McDonald’s 😉 And then came the most exciting part, the birthday cake! I’m a chocolate type of gal and the cake was about as chocolate as it could get!
Overall, my birthday was great and the first in a while where I had things planned and stuff to do on the day. I’m also very grateful for all the things in life that happened that day and wouldn’t have it any other way.
Thank you for listening.
“I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it’s like to feel absolutely worthless and they don’t want anyone else to feel like that.” – Robin Williams
Always remember you can be happy too.
Happy Friday, everyone! Just before I get into this, I’d like to apologize for this going up super late, as it’s my birthday today and I like to write these posts on Fridays as well. Once again, I’m very sorry!
This week was kind of wonky and fun and sad and happy all in one… Reasons for it being wonky and sad is due to my head and it being happy and fun is because November is my FAVORITE month out of the year! It’s my birthday, the Marine Corps birthday, Marine Corps ball season, Thanksgiving and Black Friday happens. So you can see why I love it so much 🙂 This week has basically been just me preparing for loads of videos, blog posts and trying to study up on upcoming novel, pretty hectic. Oh and I forgot to mention that Wednesday was my Friday.
Since I’m writing this Friday evening, I can tell you how well it’s been going… Today has been such a perfect day. I haven’t had one of these in a while. I won’t tell you much more because I’m saving that for another time 😉
This weekend has been amazing so far and I can’t wait for what the rest has in store for me. And I hope you all have a great weekend too 🙂
Sorry to cut this one short, but it’s my birthday, god damnit! 😉
As always, much love,
Happy Friday and it’s my freaking birthday today!! I’m 20 years old now… Wow, that’s so weird to think that I’m not a teenager anymore and I’m really growing up. I swear time keeps on flying the older you get.
Anyways, as a birthday treat to myself, I’m going to be keeping this and the next couple of posts short and sweet, as I have a good reason to now 😉
Have a great Friday!
As always, much love,
This past weekend, I saw another great movie, Thank You for Your Service. I have a few things to say about this movie, so let’s hop into it!
As someone who grew up on movies, I love to watch all sorts of movies. One category I like a lot is war oriented movies. Now this one was a lot different than what I thought it was going to be. Side note, nowadays I like to not read too much on what movies are about becuase I don’t want to expect certain things to happen.
In the movie, it focused a lot more on the aftermath on your body when getting done fighting in a war. Moreorless, the toll on your mind. As someone who suffers from mind games like this, I can relate a lot but that doesn’t mean I know exactly how they feel because I don’t. So if you don’t know what I mean, just imagine remembering a bad event constantly. So much that it’s all you can think about sometimes and then it starts to take control over you and you rethink and blame whatever happened on yourself. It’s just a little something like that. Anyways, these men the story focuses on each have their own battles and help isn’t there for them. The tools are but the instructor isn’t and they all need help NOW. This movie made me realize how bad the system is and that it can’t help everyone at once. I’m not sure of how all of that stuff goes but from someone on the outside, it makes you feel like you don’t matter unless you can physically see something wrong. Through this movies, they also showed how much suicidal thoughts can really affect you and the others around you without you really knowing. Also, I don’t know if it was actually like this or if the director wanted it this war or if it was unintentionally, but I feel like a lot of the family and friends weren’t really there for each other, except the ones who experienced the war. That’s one thing that kind of frustrated me because I don’t see how you can be so upset at someone when you can clearly see who distraught they are. But I wasn’t involved, so I could be seeing this in a different way.
These were just a few thoughts of my own on this movie. Nonetheless, it was a really good movie and I’m so happy that the film industry finally made a good movie on the aftermath of someone who fought. If you’re interested, I recommend seeing it!
