OTD #285 Finding your Disney princess esthetic

When you were younger and watched Disney princess movies, who was your favorite? As a kid, I really liked Mulan, Ariel and Pocahontas. As an adult now, I love Jasmine and Pocahontas the most. And being a Disney fanatic, I’ve tried to incorporate a Jasmine esthetic style to my life. So if you’re interested in how I’ve done that so far, keep on reading!

One of the first things I did was buying a white and gold tapestry on Amazon. It actually wasn’t too bad for it’s price, which was about $15. Something else that you don’t necessarily need but is still really nice is a snowglobe. When I was younger, I collected snowglobes and one just so happened to be a beautiful Jasmine and Rajah one. I placed that on a short octagon table I have in my room and put three gold bangles in front of the snowglobe. If you’re trying to get the Jasmine aesthetic, I’d suggest getting white, gold, sea green, silver and a dash or purple and blue colors in your room or style.

While I may not know a whole lot about fashion and styling your room, I know from a little experience on how to incorporate Disney without it being too obvious and childlike. But that’s not to say that you can’t go all out and have items that Jasmine on it. Do whatever will make you the happiest!

I hope you enjoyed this post and tell me if you want more like it 🙂 Have an amazing weekend!

As always, much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #279 Find that happiness of yours!

Since I dedicate Sundays towards positive affirmations and haven’t done one in a while, I’d like to take some time and do just that now.

As I’m writing this, I’m feeling so grateful and happy. It’s actually almost overwhelming with the amount of gratefulness that I feel. I can’t tell you how amazing of a feeling this is but it’s just what everyone needs all the time. So, if you aren’t already, find something that gives you the kind of gratitude I’m talking about and cherish it. Take in deep breaths and exclude yourself from all the bad to bring in the good that thing is giving you. Let whatever it is take over and just explode with happiness.

Even though it’s very easy, don’t take things for granted and remember that you have at your very own fingertips what makes you the happiest.

Continue to spread love and kindness.

As always, much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #266 Do you believe in creatures of the night?

Have you ever thought about the creatures of the night that lurk around? I’m talking about the ones who you hear in stories as a child. For instance, ghosts. Were you ever afraid of them? I never thought about ghosts until I saw Paranormal Activity. Since then I’ve always thought about them. I try not to be scared of the thought of a spirit walking around but sometimes it can be if you dwell on it too much. Other than that, I don’t think I’m really afraid of anything else. What about you? Is it vampires that freak you out or that there could be a serial killer roaming around your neck of the woods?

Comment your thoughts down below, I’d love to hear about them!

Like I said this past weekend, I’m going to some more posts like this, obviously this one was a little kidish but don’t worry. If you’re looking for a scare, stay tuned…

Also, if you’re looking forward to another Writing Advice, there won’t be one today. It seems I must’ve written one when I shouldn’t and I only have two left. Thus the next one will be in November 🙂

Much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #261 Miraculous Gems is open!!!

I’m so happy I’m finally able to say this… My Etsy shop, Miraculous Gems is now open and ready for business!!! I guess I’ll start off by telling you what my shop consists of and why I have those items 🙂

To begin, I’ve had a special place for believing in magic since I can remember. It went all the way from Disney to animals to the wizarding world and through far away kingdoms. And ever since my freshmen year of high school, I wanted and knew I was going to make something of my own to give to others. Through the years I’ve contemplated what I wanted; shirts, stationery, stickers, etc. It wasn’t up until recently when I thought about it again and really got to work on it. My first three products are ones that my child self would have loved. The first one is a unicorn horn wand. I love this because that’s the most iconic symbol for magic and everyone deserves to have a wand in their lives. The second are unicorn horn keychains, which is another personal item for me since I used to collect keychains and still do so! And lastly are the mermaid compact mirrors. Like most children, dreaming of becoming a mermaid has been a forever dream… I mean who wouldn’t want to check their luscious hair while at mermaid lagoon, and what a better way than with a compact mirror that’s designed for your style and can be in your seaweed satchel!

Overall, I think these first three items are great for starting your own magical collection and can bring a smile to your face. And who knows, maybe they’ll even have a special place in your heart as well 🙂

I’ll have the link to my shop at the end of this as well as my insta page to keep up with the new products. I hope you check them out and if you do, tell me what you think of them!!

As always, much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #255 Broadway Baby!

Music has been such a huge part of my life for the past 10 years. And when I say huge, I mean HUGE. It’s helped me through a variety of things, whether it be nervousness, an overwhelming amount of joy, the holidays, sadness, anything and everything. And since learning more about music and how it helps, I’ve learned that branching out to different types of music can help as well. One of the types is broadway music. I don’t know what it is about singing your feelings away, but I wish it could happen everyday. Thus, here is my broadway musical faves playlist!

Part of Your World – The Little Mermaid

Part of Your World (Reprise) – The Little Mermaid

One Step Closer – The Little Mermaid

Rhythm of the Tambourine – The Hunchback of Notre Dame

You’ll Be Back – Hamilton

And of course every finale to all the musicals. They always seem to be the best!

I know there’s a lot in this one, but broadway music has truly been a blessing to me and expresses all of my feelings in just one album. So to have so many musicals is wonderful.

Much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #253 Underrated childhood songs!

So today’s playlist is about songs that I feel are underrated and of course are animated related 🙂 I guess they’re not the best songs but I really like them and I think if some of them had better quality, they’d be really good. Nonetheless, let’s get into it.

Soon – from Thumbelina

Far Longer Than Forever – from Swan Princess

Journey to the Past – from Anastasia

One Dance – deleted song from The Little Mermaid

I’ve Got My Eyes On You – from Disney’s Princess Jasmine

Down to the Sea – from The Little Mermaid Two

For a Moment – from The Little Mermaid Two

Love Will Find a Way – from Lion King Two

If you’ve never heard of these songs and you loved your childhood movies, go check these out!

Much love,

Chloe ❤

OTD #246 Is today a good day?

What makes your day a good day? Do you have to have your cup of Joe in the morning? Or is it the afternoon laughs? I know I say this all the time, but as I get older, I start to realize that there are a number of things that can make or break my day.

One of the top things that make my day are my outfits. Since graduating from high school I’ve changed my style quite a bit and into who I am. I truly believe that your clothing really reflects who you are, because it’s a way of expressing yourself. I’ve found that skirts could be a staple as well as white Converse (of course Converse shoes are pretty expensive, so knock off Target ones will do for now).

So what are yours? Are you a daily yogi who needs to do child’s pose everyday, or is reading the news more your style? Tell me down below in the comments, I’d love to hear them! Who knows, maybe I’ll try them out and really like them!

Much love,

Chloe ❤

On The Daily #195

Love is here. It’s also there, over there, around the corner, across the bridge, in between the gate, and so many other places as well. Not to sound like a hippie, but i think we all need a little more love. The great thing about love is that it can be replaced. Though, it will never be that same love, but it will be different. And we’ll eventually need that different yet good kind of love.

Spread your love in whatever way you can today, I know it will be appreciated.

As always, much love, Chloe ❤
